What interested me about this particular Coca Cola Super Bowl 2014 commercial was that it showed different ethnic groups got together with their families to spend time with each other. But what I didn't understand is what the main concept of this commercial is really about.

I think that this commercial should have better elaborated on what it's really trying to show and tell people.

What Coke was trying to do with this commercial is to show unification with all races and ethnic groups. So, by singing "America, The Beautiful", did they achieve this feat?

In today's society, why do you think so many people are outraged over the fact that different ethnic groups are singing "America, the Beautiful"? Do you think that song should be sung solely by English speaking Americans? That's what you want to look at when trying to prove whether or not this commercial is controversial. I understand that you don't think it's controversial, but why would some think it is? Post-9/11 America is a very different world. Think in the context of that statement when you respond to this topic.

I think that so many people are mad about different ethnics groups singing "America, the Beautiful" because they aren't your typical American person. I don't think that it was wrong for other ethnics groups to sing this sung because, we are a free nation and were coming together for one thing.
